Bodrum Engagement Session on a beach :: J + G

James got in touch with me last February, with the idea to do a surprise proposal and an engagement session on a beach 🙂 Isn’t that romantic? Guys taking notes? During those months we kept emailing back and forward regarding flowers and dates. Finally we decided on a date and when they arrived to Turgutreis for their holiday, mother nature wasn’t very friendly. It was supposed to be very windy on the day we planned to do a photo shoot. Especially Turgutreis is veryyy windy. So I checked the weather forecast and the best time to shoot outside was 6am 🙂 That’s what we did, we met early in the morning to spend few hours on a empty beach. To be honest it was the best decisions. I know it’s hard to wake up, but trust me, it is worth it. See it for yourself 🙂

James and Grace were so cute 🙂 We walked from their hotel along the beach towards Turgutreis center with stops to snap an image. I would like to congratulate this sweet couple and I wish them to have a wedding of their dreams!

The wedding planners in Bodrum I had a pleasure to work with

For last couple of years that I’ve spent in Bodrum I have worked with some awesome people who create beautiful things 🙂 In this post I will share the wedding planners of the Bodrum! These ladies are very creative and will deliver their best in any situation.

Istinai Projeler has organised one the weddings that I’ve shot last year in September. The bride and groom got ready in Avantagard hotel in Yalikavak and the ceremony with the party was in Xuma Beach Club in Yalikavak! So that for the groom and bride and their guests would be easy and fast traveling to the ceremony and back to the hotel after all the fun. This romantic wedding was decorated with lovely details like instant film cameras and wooden candle holders! Of-course the ceremony setting right on the beach is the winner! If the waves were bigger, they could wash all away 🙂 Luckily Bodrum sheltered beaches can provide a perfect beach wedding locations.

Ok, so the late afternoon is the best time of the day for the photo sessions!!! And I have to admit it is my favorite time of the day to shoot 🙂

Dear Brides to be, if you planing your wedding, please please please, give your photographer 30 minutes sunset photo session. You will not regret!

This is a second part of the Forest Bride editorial shoot. But its done on the beach, so the concept is different. Beach Bride editorial is more relaxed as the bride is not obliged to wear shoes. Happy feet 🙂

Friday Bodrum favorite link’s

There is a place where all kind of gallery’s happening and many cute shops located. See for yourself, here.

I would say it’s a must to visit this place in Gumusluk! Its a magical and romantic restaurant with spectacular sunset. Always check for the sunset time on the day you plan to go that restaurant and go an hour before that. Go here and book the table now!
And here you can spend all day 🙂 first eat the famous Turkish breakfast, and hit the beach club, which is just 20 meters away. And come back to the same place for a lovely dinner on the beach.

Bodrum Wedding Photography | 4Reasons Hotel Yalikavak | Jaye + Sinan

This beautiful event was the vows renewal for 10 year anniversary. Jaye and Sinan are one sweet couple that are celebrating love with their favorite people from all around the world such a warm May day in this wonderful place, like 4Reasons hotel in Yalikavak.

I am very thankful for having me around to capture these 2 amazing families to reunite.
