Best wedding images of 2014

December 17, 2014 ·

While putting this post together, I was going through all of my wedding galleries once again, choosing my favourite images. So many good memories from last summer. I am so grateful to all my dear brides, grooms, wedding planners, make up artist, hair stylists, cake master, venue administrators, flower masters, DJ’s, videographers, drivers and everyone else who I haven’t mentioned! You are the best! Thank you for doing what you do, because it all matters, your great work is the final result, that will stay on the images! Because of all of you, last summer all the wedding went very smooth. I look forward to an awesome next year! So these are the best wedding images of 2014!

Joanne and Ian is one sweet couple, that got married in Icmeler in the Hotel Casa Blanca right on the beach. An intimate wedding with the family on the beach was really cozy! Great food was served and fun music was played all night. You can find the whole post about this wedding, here!

I am so honoured to be a part of such a touching and an important day of peoples live! To see that beauty of the bride becoming a princess of the day! It is something really special! And Sevgim that day was like a princess to marry her prince! I love my job! The whole wedding post, you can find here.

How I started with the photography

December 11, 2014 ·

So how I started with the photography, the story of my transition to photography is not as interesting as it was after I decide to get serious in photography. I was not one of those people who took a camera and what ever they shot it looked like from the magazine. I had to learn it all from the basics. I purchased my first SLR camera Nikon D40 camera in 2005 when I was working on Carnival Cruise Line in USA. I still remember that day, when I went to the camera shop in Sand Diego downtown. Felt like a child in the toy store. At that time the purpose of that camera was just to capture the beauty of the world, while traveling in Bahamas, Mexico and Virgin islands. And to be honest I was mainly shooting auto. It sucked but I didn’t haveย much time learning all the tricks of the photography. Probably if the phones were that good those days, like they are now, I wouldn’t even buy that fancy camera (at that time it was fancy). Luckily I did bought that black machine that lead me to where I am now ๐Ÿ™‚

When I was done with the cruise ships in 2008 I merged to the luxury yachting in south of France. This is where I met my partner in life and thanks to him, now I’m doing what I love. I actually have never thought I will be doing something that I love. I have been very lucky to find a photography. It makes my heart sing ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a feeling, I wish everyone could feel while going to work.

Today, I am shooting wedding already for 4 years and during those years I met so many awesome people and most of the time thanks to photography. I love every aspect of it, the connections I make with my clients, the creative part of it, the places I see while travel for work. I mean, how can you not love it ๐Ÿ™‚ It gives me all that I need. I always knew that I have this creative bug in me, because I always tried to create something with my own hands. But nothing kept me as interested as photography did.

Today, I would like to thank, all of my clients that hired me and trusted me to do my best. And I will work continuously to get better at what I do and bring you the best of me.

Also, I wish to all of you to find yourself the hobby or the job of your dreams!!!

And if you already found what you love to do, would love to hear about it in the comments ๐Ÿ™‚

Tuscany Wedding Photographer :: Beautiful Lucca

December 3, 2014 ·

Someone pinch me! I’m one lucky girl to be in one of the most beautiful places on the earth, Tuscany! It is one special place! Everywhere you go, it’s just so much to see. Of-courseย I went to see Pisa and her famous tower, but that lovely city I will show you in the future posts. Im sure it will be more than 1 ๐Ÿ™‚

This time I would like to share images of one amazing place like Lucca. It’s located 30km from Pisa. Old town of Lucca is surrounded with a tall wall, that is separating it from the town. The place is like a fairy tale! You enter and see flowers, happy people, this time of the year lots of leafs on the ground and bazillion bicycles all over ๐Ÿ™‚ Make me feel like getting one for myself. ย When we came to Lucca, it was sunny and soon after clouds took over the sky. ย To be honest, Im almost 1 month here and it’s been raining cats and dogs here. But no matter the weather, Italy is ย beautiful either way!

I let you enjoy the images and if you liked it, leave a comment ๐Ÿ™‚

Turkey Travel Photography | Holiday in Kas

Sea + beach + friends + sun + good mood = HOLIDAY

Travel photography has become one of those subject I love shooting. And its not that I shoot all day long or something. It’s literally taking 1-2h per day. So I’m not missing all the holiday fun ๐Ÿ™‚

I would not say that I was super tired, but this was much needed for my boyfriend ๐Ÿ™‚ I am pretty much on holidays all the time, as I don’t feel like I’m working when I shoot. I am there, where I want to be and I do what I love! It’s pretty much like a holiday. Even editing on a computer is a pleasure. To go through all the images again its so exciting! Or even better, sharing them with you!

Vacation, was very relaxing! Mostly on a beach, just being lazy and being spoiled by the waiters ๐Ÿ™‚ OK, I will be honest, I stayed on a beach, because we were living in the tent ๐Ÿ™‚ And it’s not the most spacious place on earth. So I preferred the beach to a tent ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s not that I’m complaining, I actually loved it. And I would do camping again. But maybe not in Bodrum, as there might be snakes and scorpions!

Lets get back to holiday mood! It was the best time since long years. As before I started photography full time, I was working on yachts. And summer on yacht, means no time off. And this summer my boy is with me. So it could not be any better, than this. We recharged our batteries, swam a lot, suntan under the umbrella ๐Ÿ™‚ It was not possible to stay in that heat. It was a bit warmer than I expected. The tent was like sauna ๐Ÿ™‚ we were getting up quite early! For my taste, the beach was way better than Bodrum. The beach we stayed at, was rocky. But the beach we visited the next day, was very exotic, with yellow clean sand and big blue waves.

I hope these images will put you in holiday mood ๐Ÿ™‚

Friday chats | Places to visit in Turkey | Part 1

July 18, 2014 ·

I have been living in Turkey, Bodrum for last 3 years. Have been traveling as much as I could, as there is so much to see around here! It has been one of the best times of my life, as I have a chance to live in such diverse place, like Bodrum. Sometime I don’t even feel that I’m in Turkey ๐Ÿ™‚

So in this series of posts I will be sharing the places that I have visited since I’m Turkey! Every one of them, is unique and so much history in it. Unfortunately I wont be covering much of a history in those posts ๐Ÿ™‚ Have to check that for yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

ย ISTANBUL

It is that one city, that has to be visited once in a life time. To be honest, if I had a chance to spend a little bit more time in Istanbul, to fully explore, I would be sooo happy. Hopefully there will be a chance to do some jobs or project in Istanbul!
